Software & Data Transformation Solutions Architecture for eDiscovery


eDiscovery is the discovery for regulatory or legal cases of electronic data - emails, Instant messaging, voice recordings, word/excel/powerpoint documents, etc.


The client has established a dedicated global eDiscovery organisation to deliver:


- An effective and collaborative team underpinned by robust and repeatable process;


- A reliable and efficient service to its data requestors built on the principles of quality, accuracy and completeness of delivery;


- Dedicated case managers for high priority or high profile cases;


- Large, dedicated Service Centre based teams for data retrieval;


- A central function within eDiscovery focussed on process execution and improvement as well as performance measurement and reporting;


- Greater capacity coupled with much improved capability through tooling and infrastructure including adding additional messaging applications on to our digital safe service.


Job Summary


The solutions architect will


Specific tasks include:


o Create and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and forecasts;


o Oversee the quality of work performed on all projects owned;


o Identify, assess, document, and minimize project risks using proper processes and tools;


o Develop and communicate schedule and project status information weekly, which may include providing that communication in meetings and written reports;


o Manage project budgets, report over/underage;


o Ensure the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality;


o Create and communicate changes to plans, schedules, and budgets using request for change process;


o Forecast, communicate, and coordinate the development of software


o Project WBS, task plans, schedule, cost analysis


o Project Charter development


o Status updates, Team and Sponsor


o Project implementation, test, training approaches and plans


Candidate Summary


The candidate will have:


- 10+ years of project management experience


- 5+ years background in financial services industry


- 5+ years with SDLC project management experience


- Experience in eDiscovery projects and/or data transformation projects


- Experience with Electronic Communication System projects (eDiscovery based or basic deployment/operation)


- Experience of working at the interface between application teams and infrastructure teams to deliver join projects/programmes;


- Customer & service orientation;


- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills;


- Problem solving skills;


- Negotiation & conflict resolution skills;


- Ability to promote organizational change;


- Ability to manage project teams in a combined weak matrix and strong matrix environment, identify and resolve resource allocation issues;


- Used to working to tight deadlines and identifying problems at an early stage;


- Self motivated, flexible, and willing to work autonomously in a team and fast paced environments;


- Have a strong delivery focus adhering to consistent project standards;


- Proven track record in managing virtual and off-shore teams and working in global matrix structures;


- Ability to effectively manage conflicting priorities.


- Ability to manage all aspects of multiple projects, including but not restricted to project charter, risks/issues, deliverables, approvals, schedule, and cost;


- Ability to communicate all aspects of the project as part of managing expectations vertically and horizontally;


- Ability to create WBS, detailed project task plans, weekly stakeholder and project team communication;


Qualification Summary


The candidate will require the following qualifications:


- Undergraduate Degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent diploma / work experience);


- ITIL foundation.
