job summary:

Client is look for a developer to be a member of the Cyber Resiliency technical team, the incumbent will be heavily involved in:

- Gathering, developing, testing scripts within our orchestration tool.

- Maintains and supports all related documentation

- Providing operational support for the cyber resilency tool.

- Administration of backup system.

- Perform other duties as needed in support of the Enterprise Resiliency Area

Principal Responsibilities:

Application Development/Maintenance:

Gather requirements

Develop estimates and project schedules/plans

Translate functional requirements into technical requirements and design

Design and code complex workflows, scripts and other functionality

Document test plans, test cases, scenarios and scripts to ensure applications quality

Prepare the test environment

Perform various levels of testing (Unit, System Integration, Regression, etc.); debug

Document and analyze testing results

Collaborate with vested stakeholders in order to review test results and ensure solution meets expectations

Provide application and user support and troubleshooting

Provide production support

Participate in Agile development activities

Apply network and system information security concepts in support of the

Collaborate with technical subject matter experts across enterprise infrastructure and development domains.

Operational Support:

Provide formal training and coaching/mentoring support to IT and Business users

Provide and monitor tool access

On-board applications, databases and users

Monitor and report on tool usage, issues, best practices, etc.

Troubleshoot technical issues related to operating system, application or network components

qualifications:

Experience:

Mandatory 2-3 years hands-on experience in scripting with the following; shell (bash), powershell, Java, Perl, .NET (mainly interfacing with REST-based applications).

Minimum of 1 year development experience with

- including, but not limited to, developing complex workflows, forms and general enhancements.

- 1-2 years working knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) including Project Planning, Estimating, Requirements Gathering, Design, Development and Test

Working knowledge of various code repositories including GIT/Bitbucket a plus

Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Working knowledge of backup tools (Netbackup)

Knowledge/Skills:

Strong analytical and technical skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Knowledge of data management life-cycle methodologies

Knowledge of information security standards and technologies

Education, Training or Certification:

Degree in a technical discipline or related experience preferred.
