We have a 3 month contract opportunity for a Social Media Paid Strategist in San Francisco, CA.

Job Description:

The Social Media Paid Strategist will be responsible for understanding the intricacies and best practices for paid advertising on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Pinterest. He/She will build, launch, optimize and report on paid social media campaigns for a variety of internal clients. Additionally, he/she will have the motivation to expand their knowledge into the broader scope of digital media advertising technology and strategy.


- Organize and work with our client's media agency to launch paid campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social platforms as needed

- Prioritize and manage quarterly priorities and ad-hoc requests to ensure they are executed on time

- Ability to problem solve, such as finding solutions for issues not yet attempted

- Identify ways to improve team efficiency and effectiveness, such as new processes

- Bring new proactive ideas to help meet internal client goals and grow business

- Work with Data Team to ensure all tagging and ad serving is properly executed

- Campaign monitoring and optimization based on KPIs

- Weekly and Bi-weekly reporting on campaign performance

- Serve as point of contact to internal clients for anything social paid related on reporting calls, recommendations and day-to-day collaboration; proactively share learnings and best practices across teams

- Constantly stay on top of platform improvements and new offerings in the social media space

- Establish oneself as an expert within their functional department and client team

- Assist in social media strategy creation


- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Economics, or Mathematics preferred

- 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience in social media advertising, paid search marketing or media planning and/or another highly quantitative, analytical, and results-driven experience

- Experience with Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn advertising highly preferred

- Proficiency in Excel is a must

- Experience with 3rd party campaign social management platforms like Kenshoo, Nanigans or SocialMoov preferred but not required

As a Social Media Paid Strategist you must represent our company by being professional, friendly, responsible, accountable, punctual, and self-motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent creative, analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

- Passion for the brand and industry. Experience in healthcare is a plus.

- Data and statistical analysis skills preferred

- Passion for media, technology and popular culture, with an understanding of existing and emerging social networks. Actively participates in a wide variety of social media activities.

- Must work well individually and in a team environment.
