We have 3 month contract opportunity for a Social Media Coordinator in San Francisco, CA.


The Social Media Coordinator will manage social media content, including but not limited to writing and publishing to: Facebook, Twitter, proprietary App, and LinkedIn. The position will work both individually and with the Social Media Marketing team to conceptualize and implement the channel strategy across all the affiliate pages.


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES


- Daily management and posting to all social media channels through Percolate by being our lead on all JIRA requests that come into the Social Media Marketing Team


- Ongoing creation of new content concepts in response to fan/follower engagement behaviors, industry trends, new technologies, etc.


- Work closely with Creative Services Team to create branded, shareable images and graphics to our local affiliate pages


- Support in the ideation and development of real-time content requests coming in from across the company to be published on local affiliate social media pages


- Maintain experiences by ensuring tags and descriptions are optimized and content is accurate, relevant and fresh.


- Research health trends to create content that is applicable to current trends and news.


- Track, report & evaluate social media data and analytics, and recommend improvements to increase effectiveness.


- Partnering with our media agency to boost posts and launch advertisements on time while assisting with managing social media budget


- Provide support, including on-site at company events for publishing and engagement.


- Support the Social Media Marketing Team with any additional projects as they come up.


- Keep current with emerging web technologies and social media updates.


- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining personal networks.

As a Social Media Coordinator you must represent our company by being professional, friendly, responsible, accountable, punctual, and self-motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent creative, analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong sense of creativity.


- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Organized and accountable for responsibilities and projects.


- Passion for the brand and industry. Experience in healthcare is a plus.


- Data and statistical analysis skills preferred


- Passion for media, technology and popular culture, with an understanding of existing and emerging social networks. Actively participates in a wide variety of social media activities.


- Must work well individually and in a team environment.


- Bachelor's degree preferred; English, Creative Writing, Marketing, Communications or related field preferred.


- A solid understanding of social media is required. Strong logical and analytical skills are needed to understand the process governing the organization of editorial and visual assets.


- Proficient with basic office suite software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
