Animation Tools Pipeline Developer


This position will be tasked with designing, building, and supporting the Animation Tools software development pipeline and supporting applications that support the experiences we deliver to our Park guests. Responsibilities include integrating existing tools with production tracking systems, continuous integration & testing, and supporting the Animation Tools software development pipeline.


REQUIREMENTS


- Experience developing & managing software development pipelines


- Good communication skills


- Self-motivated and ability to self-manage


- Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and excel independently in a multi-discipline development environment


- Strong trouble shooting/problem solving ability


QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS


- BA Computer Science, Math, or similar discipline (PREFERRED)


- Skill in at least one programming language such as Python, PHP, Ruby, Java, or C++ and able to build unit test suites for all software being developed


- Experience creating software build systems (CMake, Visual Studio)


- Experience with software deployment and packaging solutions (Rez, BigFix)


- Experience with software development Continuous Integration (Jenkins /GitLab CI/Bamboo)


- Experience with Source Control Management systems (Git)


- Exposure to content creation toolsets (Maya, MotionBuilder, SolidWorks)


- Exposure to various production workflows (VFX, Animation, Games)


- Exposure to databases used for production tracking and asset management (Shotgun, FTrack, Filemaker)
