Application Administrators are involved with installation, design and support of new and existing systems across multiple environments (Dev, Test, QA, and Production). Responsibilities include but are not limited to administering company's implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX and extend to any subsystem(s) that integrate with Microsoft Dynamics AX. In addition, there is a focus for this position on administrating both SharePoint 2010/2013 and Office 365 components. Application Administrators receive general instruction; work is reviewed for soundness of judgment, overall adequacy and accuracy. Work includes problems of moderate scope where analysis of situation or data requires a review of a variety of factors, where the Application Administrator generally exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


1) Administers and maintains company's ERP, Microsoft Dynamics AX, across multiple environments (Development, Test, QC, Pre-Prod, and Production)


- Installation and setup of new environments


- Database restores


- Configuration changes includes base Dynamics AX as well as any ISV solutions that exist within the Dynamics AX environment.


- Model store promos/imports, New user setup, and Security Administration


- Participates in the creation of Technical specifications


2) Administer and maintains SharePoint Environments


- Planning, design, build, test and deploy utilizing our web sites and portal team members and appropriate shared services resources


- Manage application deployments, including web parts, InfoPath and Nintex forms, publishing pages adhering to the necessary change control policies


3) Creates and/or assist in the creation and maintaining of support documentation for supported applications


4) Participates within team on-call rotation


5) Participates in project related activities which include:


- Incident management; troubleshooting and resolving user requests and problems for Dynamics AX as well as initial triage.


- Facilitates and smooths the transition of projects from development to production by performing operations activities within the project life-cycle.


6) 3rd Party application/administration support in accordance to IT application support matrix


7) General SQL server administration


8) Provide Tier 2 & 3 support of production Systems


REQUIREMENTS


Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:


Education and Experience:


- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a computer related discipline, or Associate's degree with 3 years' of experience in IT, or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or the combined equivalent


Technical Knowledge:


- Ability to analyst and troubleshoot a variety of problems both client and server related


- Knowledge of computer hardware and networking concepts


- Working knowledge of: MS Windows Server (2012), Active Directory, and Window 2012 remote desktop services


- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (2012/2014) general administration and SQL queries


- Knowledge of PowerShell Scripting


- Knowledge of SharePoint site collections, sites, sub-sites, and security principles


- Knowledge of SharePoint 2010, 2013/2016 and SharePoint Online/O365 along with their differences


- Knowledge of SharePoint site collections, sites, sub-sites, and security principles


- Knowledge of IIS administration


- Basic skills in evaluating technical documentation for accuracy and completeness
