Searching for a talented SharePoint Administrator with a strong SharePoint architectural background to join an expanding team and organization. This individual will report to the Senior Manager of Application Development. Individual will be required to have a proven track record of successfully building, maintaining and administering complex corporate SharePoint sites. Tasks will involve the ongoing maintenance and enhancements of the corporate SharePoint, including public facing and internal intranet. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive can do attitude and can handle high pressure environments.


Skills: SharePoint 2013/2016 system administration/development, .net, SQL and SharePoint server farm configuration, MS active directory functionality and integration with SharePoint


Pluses: ShareGate, Metalogix server/file tools, SQL, ASP.Net (C# preferred, VB.Net okay), HTML 5, JavaScript, CSS 3, SSRS, Drupal (a plus)


Responsibilities Include:



  • Develop maintain internal SharePoint sites and libraries
  • SharePoint farm configuration, design and development of web parts
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of SharePoint based corporate intranet
  • Proactively monitor SharePoint servers, corresponding SQL servers and overall environment to ensure system integrity and uptime is maintained
  • Work with outside vendor to configure and develop SharePoint backend architecture, as needed, using industry best practices
  • Work closely with internal management to determine SharePoint site content, directory structures and security configuration
  • Assist in the establishment and execution of SharePoint governance including outlining responsibilities & processes, organization of sites; developing engagement process for employees to request SharePoint site development; establishing and managing governance of complex site permissions
  • Review and make recommendations for modifications to corporate document management system to improve efficiencies and maximize available and future SharePoint functionalities
  • Work closely with internal and external business partners to achieve project goals in a timely manner
  • Train or assist with End User training on SharePoint basic and intermediate functionality and best practices
  • Creating and managing workflows in a timely manner using SharePoint and third party workflow tools
  • Integration, development and implementation of custom APIs
  • Oversight and maintenance of SharePoint front-end environment, including making recommendations when scalability concerns arise
  • Assist with other corporate web development projects as needed


Qualifications:



  • Advance skills and experience in SharePoint 2013 including familiarity with system architecture and industry best practices
  • Proficiency with SharePoint Designer
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of workflows, SharePoint reporting, comprehensive knowledge of content types and best practices
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint front end and backend web development and best practices
  • Experience will implementation and generation of SharePoint based dashboards and reports utilizing external data sources (i.e. - SQL DB, ShareGate)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft platform (AD, SQL, Office)
  • Good understanding of BLOB disk space usage
  • Strong partnership skills with an ability to work collaboratively and effectively interact with colleagues and management, as well as able to work independently
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint security and user access
  • Experience with O365 is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and flawless execution
  • Strong commitment to teamwork and flexibility in a changing environment
  • Result focused with strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communications skills and must be comfortable participating in c-level individual and group discussions
  • Experienced and comfortable working with internal and external business partners.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize work independently with consideration of individual and cumulative project goals


Pluses



  • Experience managing server load-balancing and failover redundancies
  • Strong web development proficiency in ASP.Net (C# preferred, VB.Net okay), HTML 5, JavaScript, and/or CSS 3
  • SSRS reporting experience
  • Legal, law firm or commercial real estate operations experience


Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or related experience.


Work Experience:



  • 4-5 years progressive experience as a SharePoint Administrator/Developer,
  • 2-3 years progressive experience as a web developer preferred
  • Strong oversight and implementation experience of large scale document management portfolios
