We are currently accepting resumes for a Service Desk Technician. Individual is accountable for providing outstanding customer service and technical support to staff in the Red Bank, NJ as well as remote staff throughout the Firm.


  • Monitor the ITSM incident management system toensure timely acknowledgement and resolution of support requests
  • Document, track, and monitor escalated issues toensure a timely resolution and effective communication to all parties involved
  • Provide 1st and 2nd levelhardware, software, and networking troubleshooting for a user base of approximately1,000 staff members in the firm
  • Provide 1st level support to remoteusers throughout the Firm via phone, email, or ITSM
  • Act as the onsite representative for all technologyinitiatives
  • Assists management in proactively meeting thetechnology needs of the office by keeping IT management abreast of issues andactivities
  • Work closely with members of the IT team to ensuresuccessful completion of technology projects throughout the Firm
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed

Position Requirements

  • At least 1-2 years supporting end-users in aMicrosoft environment required
  • Bachelors degree in an IT related field orcombination of education and technical training required
  • Windows 7 and/or Windows 10, CompTIA A+, or CompTIANetwork+ certification preferred
  • Knowledge of mobile technology including mobile OSplatforms and hardware functionality
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting, computer hardware,and networking fundamentals also required
  • Experience working in a public accounting, or other professional services, firm a plus
  • Must be self-motivated and dedicated to continual personal and professional improvement
  • Strong ability to work within a team environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are imperative for documentation and the translation of technical subjects to non-technical staff
  • Flexibility will be required to adapt quickly to change within the Firm and within the accounting industry
  • Must be able to work extended hours during tax season or when required to complete projects
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to travel to remote offices as needed
