Wells Fargo capital markets data services technology team is seeking a hands-on data services technology Senior Developer for Market Risk Home Lending Data Services team to design, develop and lead application development team. This position is a Sr. SSIS ETL and SQL Server Developer (Application System Engineer 5) role to work on Wells Fargo Market Risk Home Lending data initiatives partnering/working closely with Wells Fargo Market Risk Home Lending Oversight Team (CMIR). Most of the data initiatives drive Wells Fargo Market Risk systems to perform valuations, simulations, aggregations and drive reporting of risk metrics and models on all the major home lending assets.

The open position is for a STRONG senior developer with SSIS ETL, SQL Server Development and Data Modeling experience. This role would primarily be focused on design, application development, enriching and conforming data to common data structures. conduct interfaces with other systems, creates test data, perform unit testing and recommend solutions and process improvements to resolve problems in relation to different business requirement processes for Market Risk Home Lending Oversight activities.

Duties to include:

The Data Services developer will work onshore and offshore teams on the information architecture, design and implementation of backend database systems using state of art design and implementation techniques The Data Services developer will be in charge of developing solutions using SQL Server, ETL - SSIS, Data Model and Strong Stored Procedures For new development, the Data Services Developer will be expected to work closely with business partners and analysts in order to understand the data requirements and to analyze and design the necessary data flow and database design Assures quality, maintainability, and extensibility for supported systems and risk applications. Data Services developer should be strong in performance tuning and designing high data volume for high performance through put on a daily basis. The successful candidate will need to have advanced information delivery and development skills in order to create effective data solutions that can be easily maintained and extended to meet the growing demands Design and implement highly distributed, scalable processes - Staging, Data Enrichments using SSIS, SQL, Strong data enrichment & delivery techniques using Java, Microsoft SQL Server SSIS, Autosys and Unix Identify key business processes and deliver subject specific ETL and enrichment processes to load physical data models for Comprehensive Data Structures for Market Valuations Perform data research, analysis, conceptual and logical data modeling to solve data issues, validate and document business data artifacts In-depth understanding of entity relationship design, data normalization & relational modeling techniques Effectively communicate data design to other members of the team to ensure proper implementation and utilization of the data structures. Work very closely with business analysts, development teams and project managers for requirements and business rules. Support ongoing ETL efforts for Development, QA and Production environments. Experienced with code management, change management and deployment controls and processes. Pays attention to details and has strong communication skills both in verbal and written and the ability to communicate effectively with peers and business users.

The work location is St. Louis, MO. Preference will be given to those candidates that either currently live in or are willing to relocate to St. Louis, MO with limited to no relocation assistance.

7+ years of application development and implementation experience7+ years of MS SQL server experience5+ years of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) experience5+ years of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) experience3+ years of Autosys experience

Other Desired Qualifications 7+ years of overall Database information architecture, design, development and implementation experience in Relational and Dimensional databases 7+ years in database design and programming experience using SQL Server with thorough understanding of design patterns and their applications Translate business and data requirements into Logical data models in support of Enterprise Data Models, OLTP, Operational Data Structures and Analytical systems 7+ years of designing and implementing highly distributed, scalable, and performant back-end database processes - Staging, Data Enrichments and Strong data delivery techniques Experience in business analysis techniques and data warehouse design techniques Experience deploying and supporting large, complex data warehouse/business intelligence solutions. Reporting/BI experience using tools such as SSRS, and Microstrategy.Job Expectations

Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
