Job description:

Our projects span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus while being able to dive into the unique implementation challenges we face daily. As a Senior Program Lead, you will lead complex, cross-team strategic initiatives end-to-end. You are an entrepreneurial leader able to gain stakeholder trust and adept at influencing others. You are able to secure resources needed for delivery, escalate issues and anticipate project specific risks to ensure timely and on-budget implementations. You're excellent in both written and oral communications to all levels of the organization and are comfortable explaining recommendations to executives. This Senior Program Lead position will lead key programs and initiatives under our M&A Program.

Summary of responsibilities:

- Lead teams serving clients across industries (with specific capabilities in mergers & acquisitions), while demonstrating executive presence with C-level client counterparts

- Facilitate due diligence focused on identifying operational and technology strategy, organizational structures, and current state business processes and supporting technology

- Assess operational and technology investment strategies and compare respective operating models and organizational structures against leading practices and industry benchmarks

- Lead engagements teams on transaction advisory, guiding the team to prepare focused request lists and agenda, facilitating on-site reviews, and providing leadership over deliverables

- Work with engagement leadership to implement operational processes and technology that support value creation and process efficiency across functions

- Manage project economics including: track project budgets, project expenses, ensure support for invoices Drive the development/enhancement of our M&A methodologies (diligence, planning, carve-out, etc.) and approaches to client delivery

- Coach and manage other consultants and actively participate in the performance review process

- Understand client strategy and investment priorities and turn those goals into concrete engagements and detailed proposals.

- Create work plans, pricing estimates, and risk assessments for prospects

Required experience

- Bachelor's degree required.

- Minimum of 7 years M&A or M&A Service Delivery.

- Experience planning and implementing integration and separation projects as the result of M&A activity.

- Ability to work with clients on Day One readiness and execution.

- Proficiency executing synergy targeting and realization.

- Experience conducting operating model fine-tuning and organizational design.

- Understanding of cross-functional and functional coordination.

- Experience with staff development and eagerness to mentor junior practitioners.

- Consulting and/or directly relevant industry experience.

Preferred experience

- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint).

- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.

- Apply practical experience with communications, culture, and change management.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.

- An advanced degree is preferred.
