job summary:

Randstad Technologies is currently looking for a senior-level Product Manager for a top financial services client in RTP, North Carolina. The position details are as follows:

Product Manager is responsible for the profit & loss management of new product lines and their growth through strategic product planning, marketing and sales promotion. Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following: Assess opportunities for new products/programs through continuous market research and competitive analysis. Be conversant in the dominant trends and technological advancements in printing, digital imaging and mass customization in order to establish meaningful R&D priorities; Identify and propose new product/program concepts that are meaningfully differentiated and that provide the opportunity for sustainable growth through delivering high levels of consumer satisfaction. Leverage company manufacturing, software technology and sales distribution strengths; Coordinate the integration of new products/programs into all company support operations including: Manufacturing, Customer Service, Sales, Finance & Billing and Information Technology. Form and lead cross-functional teams whenever appropriate to accomplish an efficient integration; Develop revenue & profitability goals, expense budgets and strategic business plans for all new product/program initiatives. Prepare unit sales forecasts for Manufacturing and other company departments. Design and launch all advertising, promotion, product positioning and pricing campaigns; Develop special promotional programs as needed to ensure that new products achieve their intended sales revenue and profitability targets. Place a strong emphasis on optimizing consumer awareness and buy-rates within targeted accounts; Provides field sales and internal personnel with the requisite training needed to make each new product launch a success. This shall include: presentation scripts, collateral materials, product specification manuals, competitive product information, marketing strategies, and feature/benefits analysis.

10+ years experience in Primary Skill. Experience with other financial services clients preferred.
