Charlotte, NC or Fremont, CA are the preferred locations for this position, but other locations will be considered for a strong candidate.

Wells Fargo Wholesale Banking Technology is seeking a senior level OFSAA developer for the ProfitView application. ProfitView is a Wholesale profitability system that calculates relationship profitability for Wholesale relationships. Profitview is being developed within a highly complex business analytics environment leveraging OFSAA, IPA, Oracle BI (OBIEE 12c), and Teradata.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design, Architecture and implementation of Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications Infrastructure (OFSAAI)
  • Configuration, development and customization of the following modules: Oracle Institutional Performance Analytics, PFT, FTP Products
  • Lead the mapping of staging and reporting FSDW Schema, T2T development, Run Rules and Forms framework
  • Lead the specification of IPA and FSDW Financial Systems data requirements
  • Install and configure a scalable OFSAAI architecture environment and provide leadership in integration with products such as single sign-on, data archival etc
  • Perform other duties, as needed in support of the overall Data Warehouse implementation
  • Deliverables could span to include ETL, Autosys and OBIEE RPD development
  • At times, will work closely with business partners to evaluate business requirements, plan projects and participate in efficient development, delivery and deployments. Responsible for collaborating with interface partners as well as ensuring quality throughout the process
  • Act as a lead in providing application design guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of technologies, tools and designs
  • Provide design and coding direction to less experienced staff or develops highly complex original code
  • Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees project and release rollout to production

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of application development and implementation experience
  • 10+ years of data warehouse experience
  • 3+ years of financial services industry experience
  • 4+ years of Oracle experience
  • 2+ years of leadership or management experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Other Desired Qualifications
  • 10+ years experience with data warehousing, business intelligence, and data integration technologies preferably with Oracle Data Warehouse (FSDW), with 3+ years of that experience in Banking/Financial Services
  • 4+ years experience in database development using Oracle, PL/SQL, Unix, Shell scripting
  • 3+ years experience with OFSAAI Oracle 11g with hands on experience in design and architecture of the following modules: Oracle IPA, PFT, FTP
  • General knowledge of commercial banking products for interfacing with a data warehousing system: Demand Deposits, CDs, Loans, General Ledger, Lending, and Securities
  • Knowledge of staging and reporting FSDW schema, T2T development, Run Rules, and Forms framework
  • 3+ years of ETL design and dimensional modeling
  • Familiar with the following tools: TOAD, SQL Plus, Informatica
  • Experience in design and development of BI solutions using Oracle BI EE Suite/ BI Publisher / Analytics
  • Previous experience with Wholesale technology projects
  • Ability to interact with multiple levels within an organization
  • Understanding of Project Methodologies: SDLC, Agile, Scrum,Waterfall a plus
  • Proven abilities working within large, complex projects
  • Self-motivated and willing to take responsibility for timely delivery
  • Must be a team player
