Job Description

Wells Fargo Wholesale Banking Technology is seeking a Senior Application Integration Engineer (ASE5), whose core responsibility is performing design and development tasks in ASP.Net with C# and SQL Server for our Capital Finance servicing applications. We are adding new functionality and enhancements of various complexities to the existing application.

In this role, the selected Development Engineer will focus heavily on front end development, business logic, database design and integration with other applications. The Engineer will work closely with business partners to evaluate business requirements and participate in efficient development, delivery and deployment. Collaborates with technical staff, business users, and other project team members to ensure delivery of quality solutions that meet the business needs, perform efficiently, and have minimal defects. Participates in efficient development, delivery and deployment. This includes analysis, design, development, unit testing, and quality assurance throughout the entire software development life cycle.

Other duties may include:

  • Assuring security and compliance requirements are met.
  • Proactively recommend system efficiencies.
  • Verify program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs.
  • Oversee overall systems testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for the application to line-of-business users.
  • May provide coding direction to less experienced staff and develops highly complex original code.

Preferred locations include Santa Monica, CA, Charlotte, NC, or Macon, GA, however other Wholesale locations will be considered

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of application development and implementation experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Other Desired Qualifications
  • 7+ years of web application development experience with ASP.NET and C#
  • 5+ years of Microsoft SQL Server experience
  • 3+ years of SSIS and SSRS development experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Visual Studio 2010 or greater
  • Experience working with complex data structures and performance tuning activities; understanding performance requirements and the ability to design highly scalable solutions
  • Strong communication skills
  • Familiarity working with version control systems (Subversion)
  • Ability to work with teams across multiple locations and time zones
  • Experience using Quality Center / ALM as a defect tracking tool
  • Experience with deployment frameworks such as AntillPro
  • Knowledge of Wholesale financial applications, especially Treasury pricing or Account Analysis is a plus
  • Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or related field
