Job Description

As part of the Data Governance Platform team, you will work on dynamic applications to support our internal business unit.

This position requires someone who has team lead experience, strong Microsoft .NET and SQL Server experience and is able

to work with team members to meet application objectives. In addition to working with fellow developers, you will engage

with business analysts, business team members (our internal customer), database resources, quality assurance team

members, and IT staff, among others. Job duties include a combination of team leadership, heads-down development,

documentation, and converting business requirements to tech specs. Team leadership responsibilities include working with

onshore and offshore developers to make sure team members have what is needed to perform required development tasks.

You will also be responsible for proactively reaching out to necessary parties to collect additional information when needed.

Development planning, scheduling, and communicating are also crucial team leadership duties. Developer duties will include

Microsoft ASP .NET, SQL Server, and SSRS/SSIS packages.

Further Job Tasks:

Partner with database developers and modelers on the creation of database objects

Work with the business teams to identify and help document appropriate requirements

Convert business requirements to technical requirements

Help identify and document development life cycle processes

Determine solution timelines and sizing based on requirements

Perform necessary unit testing followed by engagement with formal QA teams to ensure successful implementation

Document application implementation and deployment to various environments and lead those deployment initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of application development and implementation experience
  • 4+ years of ASP.Net experience
  • 2+ years of UI (User Interface) experience
  • 3+ years of MS SQL server experience
  • 1+ year of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) experience
  • 1+ year of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) experience
  • 2+ years of leadership experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

WCF / Web Services

JavaScript /JQuery/JQuery UI


Oracle / ODP.Net

IIS Configuration

Familiarity with single page Web apps, data-driven programming, and SOA is a huge plus.

Knowledge and understanding of SOA (Services Oriented Architecture)

3+ years of Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) development experience

Oracle Data Access Client / ODP.Net (experience working with UDTs is a plus)

Experience developing data access methods and classes service

Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
