We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Microservices Engineer with the greatest minds in software engineering to help shape the architecture, develop and support next generation Home Lending Fulfillment platform. You will have an opportunity to automate complex home lending business processes by leveraging cutting edge Microservices technologies, event streaming related tools and latest AI/ML algorithms. This is an opportunity for an experienced Microservices engineer to really put their footprint and produce immediate impact by leveraging your strengths and past experience while learning new things.

You'll bring experience in taking your ideas from concept to customer, at scale, with high quality, and on time and willthrive on high-growth, high-impact opportunities in this team, to include the design and development ofcloud first solutions andhighly scalable, distributed Microservices that can handle hundreds of millions of events per day deployed in public/private cloud (ex. AWS, Azure, PCF, etc.).

Other responsibilities in this role include but are not limited to the following:

  • Drives and participates in design, development and implementation of large and complex applications, owning the solution through implementation.
  • Work with business partners, analyze highly complex business and technical requirements and translate into detailed technical design or redesign complex applications.
  • Collaborate with other technology teams and architects to define and develop solutions for the enterprise applications using agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microservices design with implementations including distributed transactions patterns, distributed monitoring and tracing, and analytics collection.
  • Proficiency in event driven Microservices architecture using Kafka, event-souring, reusable components, security considerations and enterprise integration policies.
  • Proficiency in designing solutions in Java and building Micro services architecture leveraging Spring Family of technologies and NoSQL database (ex. MongoDB).
  • Cultivate best practices within the design and development team in terms of design standards, coding standards, best practices, etc. so as to enable the technical and business maturity of the team.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Comfortable in moving fast with "Go to Market" strategy and able to adopt fluid roadmap with fast changing priorities, Innovation, Not afraid of failure and always curious to look for creative solution to overcome the challenges.

    This position can be based at the Wells Fargo site location in Des Moines IA. This position is NOT ELIGIBLE for relocation assistance. Prospective candidates should reside in and/or around the target site locations or be able to commute to either of these site for employment.

    10+ years of application development and implementation experience5+ years of Java experience3+ years of Spring framework experience such as Spring Boot
