The Sr. Manager leads the financial planning & analysis team. This role provides insights to the financial decision making process for the company through analysis, financial projections (planning, budgeting and forecasting) and reporting. More specifically, leading the P&L analysis and dashboard reporting with a specific focus on expenses, gross margin (profitability), P&L forecasting revenue and operating Income.



  • Leads the development of Business Intelligence strategy, understanding business requirements and partnering with IT to implement
  • Leads standard management reporting and dashboard strategy and enablement
  • Leads, manages and develops the Financial Planning & Analysis team.
  • Oversees and manages the continued development of budget and financial forecast including the calibration and roll up.
  • Interfaces with functional leaders for in-depth analysis, planning, and reporting needs.
  • Sponsors change management activities related to planning and reporting; serves as a key communicator of major changes
  • Supports Data Governance efforts, including definition and maintenance of standards, processes, & policies
  • Analyzes KPI trends in revenue, gross margin and expenses, identify causes of unexpected variance to plan and recommend gaps actions.
  • Continually identify areas of risks and opportunities through identification of emerging trends with supporting analysis.
  • Responsible for the development and roll up of quarterly and monthly financial reports.
  • Provides accurate and timely financial recommendations to leadership for decision making purposes
  • Improves performance through the development and improvement of the financial planning and analysis processes, tools and templates to drive efficiencies.
  • Prepares presentations and present financial data to functional leader, Dir/VP and CFO.
  • Ensures CER and CERT approvals are properly executed.
  • Escalation point when issues or questions arise regarding the P&L.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)

  • Requires Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA highly preferred
  • 5+ years management experience.
  • 8+ years experience working in Finance (FP&A, Accounting, etc.).
  • Experience with dashboard design and development enabled by BI tools (including Tableau and/or Qlik)
  • Experience developing data visualizations and performing data analysis
  • Demonstrated experience with data modeling, ETL, statistics, databases, servers and agile delivery
  • Previous experience working with analytical DB (Oracle, Hyperion, etc.)
  • CPA Preferred.
