We have an exciting opportunity as a Senior Lead Business Analyst to support the ongoing evolution of the Apollo platform as a member of the Wholesale Technology team. The Apollo application is the main tool utilized by the Credit Workout business and has many complex components to support all aspects of their regulatory and due diligence procedures. It is a well-established application with a lot of enhancements required to support the ongoing demands.

The Business Systems Consultant will act in a lead application efforts between the client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of complex business problems to be solved within Apollo. The successful candidate will work closely with the business partners who lead requirements and drive priority.

The person selected would be responsible for enhancing the platform by preparing requirements for system changes, reviewing with the development team to ensure technical design meets the expectations of the business users. Will help guide work for each sprint, coordinate and communicate with both teams often to ensure project stays on track.

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Create and refine business requirements for larger projects, minor enhancements & App Issues using JIRA
  • Effectively facilitate small groups in requirements and design discussions
  • Support the development of test scripts for UAT
  • Lead Release Management tasks to include communication, support for training and implementation planning
  • Create ad-hoc queries and perform data analysis to support end-user research
  • Help with managing business support issues and requests
  • Assists with the development of training materials and providing business training as needed
  • Build strong relationships with the business and technology partners
  • Assist with Release Management tasks and documentation
  • Provide oversight and ownership of technology related tasks associated with ownership of Applications (BCP, SOX, etc.)
  • Required Qualifications

    10+ years of business systems analysis experience, design experience, or a combination of both

    Desired Qualifications

    Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

    Other Desired Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience capturing and documenting complex business and functional requirements, which may include workflows, process maps, or business processes
  • 5+ leading the requirement design process with both technical and business partners
  • 3+ years of relationship management experience with business and technology partners
  • 3+ years of experience in financial institution and dealing with process definition and documentation
  • Previous experience in a lead capacity
  • Demonstrated project management experience using tracking tools such as MS Project, Excel, etc.
  • Previous experience utilizing JIRA and ALM is strongly desired
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Commercial / Corporate lending business experience
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Excellent relationship management, collaboration and influence skills, especially with difficult topics when partnering with senior management. This includes the willingness and ability to question decisions, understand direction and escalate issues, where necessary
