Job Summary
The Senior Director, Workplace Solutions is responsible for all aspects of the Workplace Solutions platform including Campus Care, Support Services, Guest and Team Member Services The role is responsible for facilities including the corporate campus in Deerfield as well as other locations as assigned. The Workplace Solutions Lead provides leadership for the WS staff and liaison with leadership and management as well as vendors and contractors. This position is responsible for the overall strategy, vision and delivery of Workplace Solutions for the organization.

Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the overall strategy, vision and delivery of Workplace Solutions for the organization.
  • Lead and Manage Workplace solutions Team to ensure compliance with standards and operating procedures.
  • Liaise with leadership and management on issues, changes and directives that arise in workplace solutions delivery.
  • Communicates and enforces policies for workplace solutions in fair and consistent manner.
  • Manage all sources of revenue to include rooms, food and beverage and others. Ensure all departments meet expectations and maintain strong working relationships amongst workplace solutions team, vendors and contractors.
  • Respond quickly to changing market conditions and workplace needs and revise strategies accordingly.
  • Analyze customer feedback and reviews – suggest ways to address feedback and improve service.
  • Create and manage department budget and monitor performance throughout the budget year.
  • Produce monthly financial reports and know at all times where the department stands against budget and forecast.
  • Protect the property and its assets through managing the oversight of the preventative maintenance program.
  • Ensure that complaints are addressed and requests are fulfilled or routed as received and ensure that requests/service needs are addressed expeditiously.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws related to operations, maintenance and service delivery.
  • Ensure training is taking place in each department and that service levels are being clearly communicated and maintained.
  • Assist or conduct all department manager level and above performance reviews.
  • Motivate, coach, counsel and discipline all personnel and vendor performance according to policy and contract.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and at least 8 years of experience leading customer service, risk management, and/or people management OR a High School Diploma/GED and at least 11 years of experience leading customer service, risk management, and/or people management.
  • Proficiency in the English language.
  • Experience driving Customer service.
  • Experience in program management, emergency response, service management or a similar role.
  • Experience creating solutions that align with business goals and strategy.
  • Experience breaking down complex problems into manageable and assignable tasks.
  • Experience working with MicroSoft Office Suite.
  • Experience managing vendor agreements.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours when needed.
  • At least 5 years of experience planning, developing, and managing departmental expense and capital budgets.
  • At least 5 years of experience directly managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing people as they work.
  • Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
