Your Role and Responsibilities
  • The Senior Client Solution Executive (SCSE) has the responsibility to sell Technology Support Services (TSS) solutions in the Benelux market with a minimum of $50m a year.
  • The SCSE develops multiple accounts, leads the engagements and sells solutions for the most complex IT and business requirements. These requirements may range from large organisations who have challenges managing the maintenance and support in their datacentre, up to manufacturers with support challenges in their after sales operation.
  • The SCSE is the most senior sales role in TSS and is expected to be able to operate independently, work as a pioneer, build and nurture CxO level relationships and has a consistent track record of closing $20m+ maintenance contracts.
  • The role reports to the TSS Multi Vendor Support leader in the local market and will receive guidance from the TSS Europe Director of Strategic Sales.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
TSS Strategic Engagements are characterized by a complex combination of technical, business and financial issues related to the strategic and tactical direction of our clients.
The Senior Client Solution Executive identifies leads, develops opportunities, manages the client relationship, participates in complex solution finding, manages the third party relationship (if applicable), establishes beneficial pricing and successfully closes the opportunity. In doing so, the Senior Client Solution Executive demonstrates a clear understanding of the clients business requirements, the compelling reasons to act and the decision making process.
Work area will be primarily The Netherlands, with flexibility to engage in Belgium, Luxembourg and other European countries. Fluency in Dutch and English is a must.

These are normally large, complex and highly competitive sales situations that are often global in scope and engagement negotiations are conducted at the highest levels. The Senior Client Solution Executive must be a proven team leader, possess demonstrated business acumen, exhibits professional business insight, shows demonstrated business acumen, exhibits professional business insight, shows demonstrate creativity to devise and articulate a unique and compelling value proposition (which typically leverages IBM and creates value), so that clients decision-makers clearly grasp the short and long-term business and financial value of the relationship with IBM.
