Our client in the Rancho Bernardo are is looking for a Senior Business Associate with strong experience in Sales Operations. This position will evaluate, redesign, and optimize key business processes with SalesForce touchpoints. The role will act as a program manager for business initiatives that will drive increased sales in the short-term. In addition, the role will work directly with field management and account teams to capture, document and share specific company IP and, codify sales success materials to accelerate business across sales regions and account teams. Your analytical, inter-personal, creative thinking, business management and leadership skills will be called upon from day one.

The role must work cross-functionally to satisfy business requirements and meet the needs of several stakeholders across Field Sales, Sales Ops, Marketing, Product, Finance, and others. This role reports to the Director of Account Strategy and Deployment.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Knowledge management

    • Lead cross-functional interactions with various sales, operational and marketing divisions to drive unified collateral for sales field leverage
    • Codify key sales success stories, opportunities, proposals and communicate successes across regions with field organization
    • Review, refine and update sales materials through daily monitoring, metrics and interaction with field teams

  • Sales process improvement

    • Redesign and optimize processes to align with business goals and strategies
    • Ensure effective implementation by incorporating interim process changes, metrics/SLAs to measure success, and general change management considerations
    • Organize, facilitate, and lead working teams and process workshops as needed to drive effective cross-functional collaboration

  • Driving Sales Ops success

    • Provide teams with powerful facts and analyses that drive change and highlight new opportunities
    • Play an active role in continual innovation, thought leadership, and growth of Sales Ops process improvement capabilities

Candidate will work closely with the Director, Account Strategy and Deployment along with field sales management. It is required that the candidate must have the ability to work teams to drive consistent deliverables in a timely manner without direct reporting responsibilities of the content curators at the field level.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Candidate must have 3+ years of experience, preferably in the technology or management consulting industries. The candidate must have a fundamental understanding of the enterprise sales processes & the ability to work in a strong sales culture. Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills are a must.

Key qualifications and experience:

  • Experience in technology, consulting, or other business management environments beneficial, but not required
  • Strong critical thinker with ability to ramp-up on quickly on the companies business & sales processes
  • Robust communication skills (verbal, written) including ability to present, facilitate, and negotiate
  • Independent problem solver who will take initiative and execute work
  • Must be deadline driven, organized and able to multi-task

Bachelor degree in business or technical field required; MBA a plus.
