Job Description:

This position will be focused on Data Security initiatives within the Platform Security group and will play a key role in the implementation of data encryption to protect sensitive data in high-risk applications. Prospective candidates should a subject matter expert in the Data Security and Encryption space.

Responsibilities:

- Perform key management operations (e.g. generate new keys, key rotation, backup of keys, key recovery)

- Act as subject matter expert for data encryption solutions -review encryption solutions, define security requirements for the encryption solution, and validate functionality of the encryption solution

- Work with HSMs to secure key material.

- Work closely with application teams and DBA resources in support of encryption initiatives

- Evaluation of vendor encryption products to support data protection recommendations

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required

- At least three years of work experience in the Information Security space

- Experience with Vormetric Data Security Manager - infrastructure design, policy/rule creation, management and key management

- Working experience with vendor-based implementations such as Vormetric, Gemalto, Microsoft, Cisco, McAfee, and RSA
