The Enterprise Security Administrator is responsible for planning, configuring, deploying, and maintaining a comprehensive security infrastructure. This position is expected to stay up-to-date on the latest industry intelligence, trends, and hacking methodologies in order to safeguard the organization's systems from data loss and security breaches. The role is responsible for working closely with IT management to ensure that the company is compliant with applicable regulatory requirements.


- At least 5 years of recent experience with enterprise network and systems administration.

- Minimum 3 years of progressive information security experience.

- Advanced knowledge of security principles and practices with the ability to remain current with newly emerging technologies.

- Ability to work independently or within a team setting.

- Outstanding customer service orientation with a passion to serve well.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Proven analytical and problem solving abilities with an attention to detail.

- Exemplary documentation and technical writing skills.

- On-call and weekend availability as needed.

- System i (AS/400) security experience preferred.

- Bachelor's degree preferred.


- Help establish and maintain cybersecurity standards and procedures to meet regulatory requirements.

- Initiate, facilitate, and promote activities to create information security awareness within the organization.

Routinely audit internal controls to ensure alignment with information security procedures/policies and that appropriate access levels are maintained.

- Maintain user provisioning lifecycle and work with peers to ensure the compliance and effectiveness of on-boarding and off-boarding procedures.

- Ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the data residing on or transmitted to/from/through enterprise workstations, servers and other systems and other data repositories.

- Provide day-to-day support of firewalls, endpoint security software, and other configurations or devices with a security implication to harden all aspects of the enterprise network.

- Coach and guide Service Desk specialists in their incident response and operating methodologies to broadly stimulate and elevate the internal security posture of the IT department.

- Configure security tools to monitor network traffic and unusual activities, analyzing a large collection of security reports for actionable intelligence, and resolving deficiencies uncovered by network vulnerability assessments.

Stay current with industry developments and make innovative product and solution recommendations in an effort to develop and maintain an actionable security roadmap.

- Ensure that all security incidents are investigated and effectively addressed and in a timely manner and that proactive measures are taken to minimize cybersecurity risks.

- Maintain relationships with vendors that assist the company with security-centric consultation and/or projects.

- Additional responsibilities as assigned by Manager.


Some travel may be required. No more than 25%.
