Permanent position: Production Scheduler needed for a client in the specialty chemicals industry just east of Lexington Kentucky. This is a direct hire role. This individual will be reponsible for crating and manging scheduled prodiction action plans derived from the master production schedule. Salary will be based on expeirence.
Responsibilities for the Scheduler
  • Breaks the master production schedule down into finite production asset plans for 1 to 4 week frozen planning horizon as well as 4-8 week fluid planning horizon
  • Issues SAP process orders and controls report backs from operations teams
  • Responsible for alignment of production assets and resources for weekly and monthly production schedule
  • Reports out production rates, asset up time and asset utilization on a regular basis
  • Responsible for planning asset optimization (output per unit of time)
  • Works with team planners/schedulers to ensure that assets are sufficiently supplied with raw materials and packagingRequirements for the Scheduler
    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or a related field required
    • Minimum of five (5) years of production planning or related experience requiredPharmaceutical, Chemical or related industry experience requiredProject management experience required
    • Experience in planning in an asset- or raw material-constrained environment required
    • Prior SAP implementation experience required
    • Experience in a regulated environment such as cGMP, ISO, or FDA requiredBenefits

        Experience: 5 years

        Salary: 75000.0 - 95000.0 per YEAR
