Your Role and Responsibilities
Were experiencing tremendous growth and looking for a strong DevOps Engineer to join our team. Responsibilities include: GBSHJ19
  • Working within the Agile team focused primarily on delivering technical solutions for improving the overall quality of product build, deployments, monitoring and alerting, with emphasis on non-functional requirements (standards, resilience, stability, scalability, security etc.)
  • Setting up and maintaining the automation infrastructure and enabling the SDET to be focus on writing tests and breaking the system.
  • Translating the tactical vision into client understandable language and communicating effectively
  • Ensuring the deployment management solution selected is capable and able to automatically deploy all required: Configuration, Code, and Data in a stable and predictable way.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the CI. Makes sure the CI system can correctly verify every change, run all tests, run automated QE, and report results.
  • Managing integrations with Version Control, ensuring VCS availability to all team members, implementing and setting up VCS, and VCS security.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 4-6 years prior experience in a consultative role with 2-5 years of prior Salesforce and Force.com experience
  • Professional experience in a test-driven and formal QA development environment
  • Able to articulate on processes and tools utilized to ensure quality, stability, performance, scalability, deployment, security, maintenance and documentation
  • Prior work with OO languages (Java, Ruby, C#, C++, etc.)
  • Experience with Automation frameworks ( Selenium, CodedUI, Watin, Cucumber, etc.)
  • Experience with Version Control systems ( Git, Bitbucket, TFS ) System registration and set up and creating branching strategy
  • Has attained both Platform Developer, and either Data Architecture & Management or Integration Architecture Designer certifications
  • Must be available for 75% travel if not local to the Dallas area

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Knowledge and understanding of latest trends in DevOps methodologies, processes and tools, as well as emerging solutions and ability to apply them when appropriate
  • Platform Developer II and any other Domain Specialization certifications a plus
