Salesforce Administrator


Responsibilities:



  • Systems analysis, design, prototyping and technical support & Configuration.
  • Manage all Salesforce integrations across multiple digital platforms and applications
  • Perform data clean up, end user training and advise on best practices for each department use cases
  • Evaluate new release functionality and the impact to the Business, as well as identify process improvement opportunities
  • Execute business process analysis, requirements gathering, documentation, and presentation
  • Translate end-user requirements into detailed specifications
  • Interact with users from various functional areas (Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, Credit, A/R, Finance)
  • Interact with technical resources to define technical requirements and design solutions
  • Manage and execute the application testing process
  • Create and implement best practice procedures to address data integrity and data entry issues as identified
  • Create and manage custom reports, data presentations, and dashboards as needed
  • Coordinate and assist in development and execution of system conversions


Development and maintenance of functionality within the Salesforce.com application and integration with other applications including:


-Integration with SAP ECC & SAP BW as well as other applications


-Account Management


-Lead Management


-Opportunity & Sales Forecasting


-Contract Management


-Sales Metrics


-Reports & Dashboards


Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in management information systems, computer science, and/or business, or equivalent work experience
  • Salesforce.com Administrator certification is required
  • 3 to 5 years of Salesforce Administration experience
  • In depth knowledge of the standard capabilities of Salesforce as well as experience expanding on those capabilities through the use of custom code and/or integration with external systems
  • Proven experience working amongst technical resources supporting and integrating with various applications including SAP ECC and SAP BW
  • Strong reporting background using standard reporting tools including standard salesforce.com reporting functionality
  • Previous reengineering experience updating an existing Salesforce.com configuration to provide solutions for reporting, workflows and enhanced functions
  • Salesforce Developer skills or desire to learn and grow Salesforce development skills preferred
  • Process oriented individual with deep experience working within structured IT governance models
  • Demonstrated ability to respond to customer inquiries despite competing priorities
  • Experienced in leading / project managing specific pieces of work, people and/or deliverables
  • Experience in Business specifically in processes around wholesale distribution and retail a plus
