Sales Operations Analyst Overview:

In this role, you will use a data-driven approach to drive a deep understanding of our fast changing business, provide insights that will translate directly to accelerated growth and improve the ability of our global Sales organization to operate at scale. This role will require you to develop solutions to complex, ambiguous and high visibility business challenges. You will provide business understanding to the Sales leadership teams, covering new business development, existing account management and Nest's product and partner strategies. You will partner with our Sales, Operations, Planning and Supply Chain teams in order to develop build plans for ongoing business as well as new product introductions. Additionally, you will have exposure and visibility to senior executives and cross-functional leaders as you evangelize the opportunities and highlight impact from your solutions.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:

1. Develop standardized pricing model across all Channels

2. Own forecasting responsibility for our Americas Sales organization

3. Help develop business plans and go-to-market strategy with our senior leadership

Overall Responsibilities:

Work closely with Nest's Sales, Operations, Planning and Supply Chain organizations to understand the sales operations needs

Own new product introduction and end-of-life strategy for our Americas Sales organization

Provide thought leadership to the Sales organization and assist in annual business planning, org design, OpEx, headcount planning and more

Identify opportunities for product, program and process improvement with a focus on supporting growth

Communicate insights on a regular basis to senior levels of management

Required Skills:

BA/BS degree with quantitative or business focus (economics, engineering, mathematics, operations, etc) or equivalent practical experience

3+ years of experience in retail sales operations, retail sales, consumer electronics, hardware manufacturing, consulting, finance or accounting

Nice to Have Skills/Not Required:

Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, with the ability to drive an agenda

Strong project management skills with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and to tight deadlines in a high paced and dynamic environment

Proven track record of thought leadership and strategy with a tangible impact on sales and marketing operations across international markets

Distinctive problem solving and structuring skills, with ability to synthesize data into useful formats and bring actionable insights through effective communication

Knowledge of industrial grade IS architectures and reporting tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, Anaplan, etc)
