One of the leading custom equipment manufacturing company is looking for a "Account/Sales Manager". This is a direct hire and a remote position. The candidate will mainly work in southeast MI area.We are looking for somebody with complex high-volume production and automotive industry/ custom equipment background. Salary is commensurate with experience. Please apply immediately.

Responsibilities for the Sales Manager

  • Sales and Business Development Strategy
  • Apply branding processes and tactics in the marketplace and with customer base
  • Develop Sales and Business Development Performance Culture
  • Forecasting and Budget
  • Final Negotiations

Requirements for the Sales Manager

  • Automotive industry background is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Engineering degree preferred) and a secondary degree in a business management, sales, marketing, or related field.
  • 7-10 years of successful and verifiable experience of strategic selling and negotiation skills in "solution and systems sales" of capital equipment or industrial automation.
  • Must possess an active network of contacts in the relevant markets segment or segments in order to leverage multiple sales opportunities
  • Must be willing to travel around 40-50%.

  • 1% commission on each sale on top of the salary.
