Your Role and Responsibilities

As a key member of our team you will be accountable for opportunity life cycle development, leadership and management through to contract signature.

You will possess extensive sales experience and be able to demonstrate the ability to multi-task and prioritise in any situation. You will be responsible for championing, and positioning IBM as the Business Resiliency provider of choice in assisting clients with their transformation to a digital resilient business. You are a great team player with the ability to embrace a leadership role where necessary.


Job responsibilities:
  • Achieving the set sales targets for your assigned Business Resiliency territory.
  • Establishing and growing relationships with key decision makers and influencers within IBMs existing client base as well as new clients.
  • Translate and quantify the business benefits associated with the IBM Business Resiliency portfolio of offerings and solutions.
  • Achieving client satisfaction and Net Promoter Score targets.
  • Collaborating with IBMs Consulting, Pre-Sales and Delivery teams to design client tailored solutions.
  • Proactively scope solutions required to address client requirements, assess client needs, and recommend solutions that optimise value for the client.
  • Secure input from all necessary solution stakeholders within the client and adapt solutions, as necessary, to ensure appropriate support.
  • Development and assessment of cross-brand opportunities and collaborate with the wider sales team to ensure these opportunities are effectively covered and advanced.
  • Be responsible for opportunities until formal sales engagement completes and facilitate the transition to a delivery engagement team and remain involved during the engagement phase as appropriate.



Required Professional and Technical Expertise
  • Proven sales experience in selling Business Resiliency, Disaster Recovery or data protection solutions.
  • Proven and strong experience in presenting and demonstrating business benefits and value to a customer of Business Resiliency solutions.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Disaster Recovery as a Service products and offerings, Intel and open systems server platforms.
  • Sales leadership and experience in a business-to-business large/strategic customer segment.
  • Superb communication and presentation skills with the ability to present and convince through strong argument and strength of personality.
  • Self-sufficiency; ability to work independently and as part of a team, coupled with a can do attitude.


Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise
  • Proven experience in multi-vendor IT Infrastructure Solutions and/or Cloud Solutions Sales(AWS, Azure, Google, IBM Cloud, etc.)
  • Proven experience in Solution/Managed Services Sales
  • Proven experience in Consultative Sales Methodologies and Strategies
  • Proven experience in Executive Relationship Management
