  • Job Description:

    Wells Fargo Enterprise Core Services Customer Due Diligence technology team is seeking a hands-on data and reporting platform team leader. The incumbent will manage the team responsible for supporting customer due diligence data technology, reporting, data issue resolution and controls implementation. The lead will manage development projects in the customer due diligence area, as well as collaborate and partner with enterprise solution architects, business users, risk and compliance leadership and relationship management support staff. Candidate will provide strategic thought leadership and measurable outcomes in data management strategy, analytics, reporting and reporting self-service and insight including data ingestion, data distribution, data governance, business intelligence and business analytics.

    Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Manage a team of 10-20 FTE and 10-20 contractors in geographically dispersed locations.
  • Manage vendors, internal relationships, proof of concept and proof of technology roadmaps and prioritization.
  • Manage and lead data engineering, reporting, and technology controls team and support software development life cycle.
  • Develop and implement tactical and strategic solutions for an analytics and self-service reporting platform.
  • Work with other Enterprise teams to ensure that the reporting and analytics implementation is leveraging enterprise-wide assets
  • Ensure infrastructure, processes and procedures meet information security and operational risk requirements.
  • Partner with direct and indirect technology line leaders in long range strategic planning and ensuring integration with enterprise wide technology strategy. This includes experience and the ability to balance all the different considerations and sensitivities with partners and influence positive strategic direction.
  • Establish and implement CDD reporting and analytics platform, develop a strategy and gain consensus across key technical leadership through effective communication. Drive the vision to closure through the effective management of goals and objectives.
  • Required Qualifications

    10+ years of technology experience5+ years of management experience in an IT environment7+ years of banking finance experience5+ years of strategic planning and development experience5+ years of experience delivering complex enterprise wide information technology solutions 10+ years of information technology experience3+ years of data modeling experience5+ years of Oracle experience

    Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to interact with all levels of an organization3+ years of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) experienceTableau experienceBS/BA in computer science, applied statistics, quantitative economics, operations research or a related fieldKnowledge and understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) ProgrammingKnowledge and understanding of OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition)

  • Knowledge and understanding of analytical methods used in: statistics or predictive modeling methods (regression modeling, clustering, pattern recognition, graphics)
  • Knowledge and understanding of data management concepts, process, tools, and environments
  • Preferred experience with the following: OBIEE, Tableau, data analytics, SSRS, Informatica, Oracle database
  • Risk and compliance subject matter expertise in AML/BSA.
  • Prior development experience with one or more of the following: Java, IBM BPM
  • Incumbent will earn CAMS (certified anti-money laundering specialist) certification within the 1st year. Job Expectations
