Data Management and Insights (DMI) is transforming the way that Wells Fargo uses and manages data. Our work enables Wells Fargo to empower and inform our team members, deliver exceptional experiences for our customers, and meet the elevated expectations of our regulators. The team is responsible for designing the future data environment, defining data governance and oversight, and partnering with technology to operate the data infrastructure for the company. This team also provides next generation analytic insights to drive business strategies and help meet our commitment to satisfy our customers financial needs.

The CIB-WIM BDL Reference Data Management Consultant reports to the CIB WIM BDL Reference Data Manager and is a key member of a team that will work with lines of businesses across the enterprise to understanding and meet the data needs of impacted stakeholders. This position will work collaboratively with the LOBs, Credit Risk, Counterparty Risk, Market Risk, Compliance, Finance, and other business functions as well as Data Management and Insights (DMI), related technology, and operations teams to deliver both near term and strategic services.


Key Responsibilities:
Serve as subject matter expert with relation to Securities Pricing information created by multiple lines of businesses across the enterprise. Perform current state assessment for all related operational and technical processes
Strategy development related to implementation of enterprise level availability of Securities Pricing.
Lead focused discussions across stakeholders to formulate business requirements across multiple use cases. Document agreed upon requirements.
Facilitate discussions with solution partners in DMI, Operations, and Technology to collaboratively reach a solution approach.
Provide daily leadership on efforts and mentoring to junior team members.
Partner with Operations, Lines of Business, and Data Management & Insights teams to define and establish master and reference data, data governance, data enrichment capabilities and routines, and stewardship processes.
Build and maintain strong relationships with partners across line of business sponsors and use case leaders, Corporate Functions, Data Management & Insights, Technology, Operations, and Finance.

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: data management, data governance, data quality or data analysis

Other Desired Qualifications

Previous experience standing up and leading cross-enterprise working groups
Relevant product experience (Corporate Banking, Wealth Management, Brokerage, or Capital Markets)
Relevant financial services experience (Risk, Finance, Middle Office, or Data Management)
Experience with implementation or management of various data quality policies such as Governance & Oversight, COSO, or Enterprise Data Governance (EDG) policy

Salary Information
