Wells Fargos Chief Administrative Office (CAO) consists of enterprise functions that work together to promote and protect the Wells Fargo culture and brand, and support our team members. Groups within CAO work to protect our reputation, tell our story, bolster team member engagement, connect with our customers, and bring new and innovative solutions to life. CAO functions include Commitment to Customer, Corporate Responsibility & Community Relations, Data Management & Insights, Human Resources, Marketing, Stakeholder Relations, and the CAO Integration and Planning Office.

Enterprise Analytics and Data Science (EADS) is seeking an experienced Wells Fargo business initiatives professional responsible for leading cross functional/virtual teams to strategize, plan and execute the design and implementation of a company-wide framework for analytics that will meet heightened standards for governance and risk management in an increasingly centralized data and technology environment. Senior individual contributor role that is leading a cross-functional effort representing the needs of analytics while balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders across technology, data, risk, information security, etc. The outcome will be to improve the process by which data can be transformed to support business decisions that impact business outcomes wherever and whenever that analysis needs to occur, considering both traditional and emerging analytic methods and data environments. Also responsible for developing metrics and tracks/evaluates performance of the ATOM effort.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Gather and represent analytic needs for stakeholders across the company, and transform those needs into an operating model for a distributed analytics function, with implementable guidelines and work efforts.
  • Consider initiative needs and impact across multiple data environments and analytic work paths, from ad hoc to large-scale production solutions, from simple queries to machine learning; consider EUCT, QTM and other policies relating to analytic work.
  • Build relationships and coordinate alignment with stakeholder teams across DMI and EIT including EITs Enterprise CIO, technology asset management, enterprise data management, DMI data strategy, DMI data governance, etc.
  • Work with program management teams to establish and track progress toward interim and long term milestones; keep stakeholders apprised of key work efforts, relevance, progress and impact.
  • Prepare and present work product to stakeholders/management in a concise, convincing, and effective manner.
  • This role has a high level of exposure to analytics leadership across the Company as well as to partner organizations within and outside of Data Management & Insights (DMI). There is a significant opportunity to influence the future of analytics at Wells Fargo and gain exposure to some of the most innovative areas of analytics, technology and data management in the industry today.

  • Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them.
  • Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.
  • Required Qualifications

    8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning1 + year of experience creating and implementing strategic plans and roadmaps at the executive level for enterprise wide business initiatives3+ years of experience capturing and documenting complex business and functional requirements3+ years of process definition and documentation experience

    Desired Qualifications

    A BS/BA degree or higherStrong quantitative and qualitative analysis skillsAdvanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skillsAbility to facilitate meetingsAbility to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations

    Other Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with policies that impact analytics and analytic delivery for at least one business or function
  • Experience implementing organizational procedures, operations, and applicable compliance rules and regulations across a broad number of teams and processes
  • Broad familiarity with Wells Fargo data and platforms
  • Experience leading cross-functional prioritization of resources, projects, and expectations for highly visible and enterprise impacting efforts
  • Proven experience managing multiple project initiatives at once
