job summary:

Responsibilities:

In this role, the Project Manager will support Business Management, Technical Management, and Acquisition Management efforts.

  • Project Management

    • Provide guidance on development of project specific documentation to include the full breadth of the project management lifecycle
  • Business Operations Support

    • Lead efforts to support the coordination, reporting, and tracking of executed budget to enable to meet regulatory and statutory obligations
  • Risk Management

    • Risk assessment and mitigation (technical, cost, schedule)
  • Acquisition Support

    • Lead efforts to support the drafting and maintaining program documentation in accordance with FEMA/DHS acquisition program policies and directives
  • Property Management Support

    • Develop processes to ensure accountability property in compliance with its regulatory and statutory obligations to include inventory and tracking life cycle logistics (integrated logistics support)
  • Professional Support/Technical Subject Matter Expertise

    • Provide SME guidance related to project planning, management, and monitoring in technical areas to include: requirements development, SDLC documentation (ConOps, Mission Needs Statements, etc) and execution, business process improvements

Qualifications:

  • BA or BS in related field required i.e. (engineering, systems management, business administration), Masters preferred
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Top Secret Clearance required
  • Project Management Certification (PMP) required
  • 10+ years experience Project / Program Management
  • 10+ years experience leading managing or providing oversight for complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Familiarity with DHS preferred
  • DAU / DAWIA certification core competencies preferred
