Analytics and Reporting Central (ARC) - ARC Application Champion (Framework)

Role Summary:

As the ARC Application Champion, this team member will have superior organization and communication skills to facilitate the usability and quality of the Analytics and Reporting Central (ARC) application. This high profile position will interact with Business Leaders, IT Professionals, and users of the ARC application at all levels across the company to help drive adoption of the tool and ensure that users and teams who are new to the ARC platform are able to get on boarded quickly and efficiently to begin driving value for their team. The team member will need to be able to understand all sides of the ARC application to train new users, as well as support rollout and adoption of new functionality and changes impacting existing users. Product champion will help ensure that training materials, communications, branding, and user experience are high quality and proactively assist users with any issues they may have. Candidates for this position should have an aptitude for process improvement, strong attention to detail and feel empowered to look for innovative ways to continually improve the ARC user experience and strengthen the internal application brand. The individual may also have responsibilities in support of content management and other special projects to help drive the advancement, usability and quality of ARC. This position is on a team that is responsible for providing technical web-based applications and Business Intelligence solutions. Candidates with experience in video creation or other multi-media tools is a plus.


- Actively support ARC Application by providing prompt responses to customer problems, opportunities and inquiries through Inbox, Help Desk tickets, and direct reach out.

  • Make the customer's experience his/her first priority with ability to tailor training and support to the type of customer and their specific needs.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group demos to assist the user with any issues they may have with the application. Write communication notices as needed.
  • Help new users learn about and understand the tool, get them setup with access.

- Create and maintain training materials, documentation, classes, emails etc. to help all application users learn about ARC and start using its existing functionality.

  • Supports standards for messaging to stakeholders and users to ensure that all communications are branded, professional and reach the proper audiences.

- Participate in ARC Development team scrums and planning sessions to understand upcoming capabilities and provide input from the end user perspective to improve design and adoption.

  • Ensures ARC Enablement team is proactive in preparing for framework team releases from an end user training and communications perspective.
  • Ability to quickly assess how changes will impact users in addition to any existing documentation or processes.
  • Create new or update existing materials to facilitate training.
  • Identify and execute on other change management activities needed for rollouts.
  • Work with enablement team lead on creation of release demos & release notes.

- Run demos and onboarding classes with new users, help 'sell' the application and increase adoption, provide additional support as needed to help facilitate seamless user migrations.

  • Work with new teams to help them identify how ARC can add value to their team or line of business.

- Look to improve all ARC processes to streamline the user experience and reduce the "red-tape" for the customer.

- Gather user feedback and provide to the Enablement team lead - enhancements, new features, innovative ideas for outreach etc. May include survey administration, customer reach out, design proposals etc.

- Anticipate customers' needs and proactively conceptualize and champion user requirements when applicable.

- Assist Content Contributors with getting their content established within ARC through the content intake process and manage it ongoing.

- Other tasks and special projects as assigned to help drive the advancement, usability and quality of ARC.


Minimum Qualifications:

- Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent job experience

- Ability to effectively and professionally communicate, both orally and in writing. Ability to articulate and translate technical language to non-technical customers. Influences at all levels across the company.

- Experience working with customers with all levels of technical experience.

- Exemplifies teamwork and serves as a role model. Ability to successfully facilitate collaboration across multiple functions, departments and levels. Unquestionable ethics & integrity.

- Aptitude for gaining deep knowledge of the industry and business, and proactively using this knowledge to deliver meaningful results.

- Track record of consistently delivering and taking accountability for work and results. Confronts tough issues and situations. Open to identifying potential growth areas.

- Consults with clients and teammates to identify all facets of an issue and generate a solution. Understands potential impacts to processes and systems across organization and factors these into solutions. Excellent conceptualization, analytical and logic skills.

Additional Qualifications:


- Experience with Business Intelligence Tools (Looker, OBIEE, Tableau) and Creating Reports

- Experience with Web-Based Applications

- Experience with video editing software such as Camtasia or similar

- Experience with design tools such as Illustrator or similar

- Experience with HP's Service Manager Application

- Experience with SQL a plus (run queries to analyze data)

- Familiar with Agile and SCRUM methodologies

- Advanced Degree
