An experienced Project Manager to work collaboratively with Business areas and IT staff, providing a structured approach for planning and coordination of analysis, projects and programs which support the implementation of business programs, processes, procedures, applications and technologies.


Responsibilities include: Manages Corporate programs and projects ensuring that the deliverables achieve Best Value results that meet the business goals and objectives of internal and external clients. Provides program and project management leadership, structure and direction to globally distributed, culturally diverse, and organizationally matrixes teams. Promotes team communication via regular team meetings. Assumes accountability for the actions and deliverables of the project team. Promotes and contributes to the ongoing development of program and project management best practices. Maintains an appropriate balance of planning, monitoring and execution to maximize the Corporate return on investment. Ensures that all project work is properly and appropriately documented in a manner that satisfies or exceeds the requirements of policies, procedures, best practice and regulatory agencies. Develop strong ongoing relationships with project stakeholders and management, IT management, and finance. Communicates issues and program/project status clearly and in a timely manner, based upon the tracking of quantitative metrics and milestones. Works in conjunction with other team members, business units, IT staff and clients to identify, track, escalate and resolve project / program related issues.

Minimum Requirements:


3+ years experience in project management, requirements definition and/ or deployment of business requirements to information systems including demonstrated leadership skills.


Critical Skills:


7-10 years of broad project management experience in a technical/IT environment


Extensive experience using SDLC and agile project methodologies


Direct and indirect management of onsite, remote, and third-party resources


Direct experience managing programs and portfolios for lines of business as it relates to technology


Additional Knowledge & Skills:


PMP preferred

Organized, thorough, ability to effectively prioritize, results oriented


Ability and willingness to be hands-on and deliver results


Education:


4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience


Certifications/Licensure:


PMP Certified
