Our client is looking for a Project Coordinator / Analyst for a contract to hire opportunity in Washington DC.


This position will be responsible for providing support to the Program Director, Senior Program Manager and project team.


Essential Job Duties


Collect data from various sources including Deltek, the SOW, data calls, and meetings to generate reports and deliverables for project reporting to include Monthly Customer Report, Monthly Project Reviews, weekly staffing reports, ad hoc reports as requested by the government and CLIENT leadership


Assist with auditing government invoices for accuracy


Track employee and subcontractor totals and hours


Reconcile subcontractor invoices against Deltek records


Keep staffing metrics including vacancies, time to fill, recruiting efforts


Serve as a liason between the management team and CLIENT recruitment/subcontractor recruitment, coordinate interview meetings


Onboard new hires with document processing, account set up, and first day procedures while keeping all necessary parties up to date with progress


Organize team events, work with government resources to book rooms and order food


Assist project staff with account issues and processing government documents for approval


Track weekly status reports


Assist the project team with the development of presentations, updates to administrative documentation and the documentation of deliverables


Schedule various meetings/interviews and create meeting minutes


Maintain and track documentation on SharePoint


Provide writing and editing support for team members, ensuring documents are properly formatted and that grammar, punctuation, and verb tense are correct


Perform additional duties as assigned


Education and Experience Requirements:


Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university preferred


At least two (2) years of experience providing financial project management support (preferable in a government consulting environment)


At least four (4) years of experience and proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite required


At least two (2) years of technical writing or documentation experience desirable


Working experience in Microsoft Project and SharePoint preferred


Experience assisting with the definition of work breakdown structures, schedules and milestones


Experience assisting with defining and documenting implementation and operational processes


Experience providing meeting support to include scheduling various meetings and recording and tracking minutes and progress on action items


Incident management experience


Experience working with other project team members to determine document contents and providing writing and editing support


Strong writing, verbal, and organizational skills


Strong analytical ability


Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment


Excellent oral and written communication skills


Excellent time management, scheduling, and organizational skills
