Job Description Position overview

  • As a member of the Google Cloud team, you will inspire companies and agencies to become more productive and collaborative by using Google's Cloud products, such as Google Cloud Platform, and to free companies from the overhead of managing infrastructure, provisioning servers and configuring networks by using Google's array of Cloud platform products.
  • In this role, you'll focus on driving customer transformations through growth programs via Google Cloud's network of longtail managed services and reseller partners.
  • Your efforts will help standardize, centralize and accelerate in a scalable fashion the partner team's acquisition of SMB customers through the partner channel.
  • You will play a pivotal role in defining our GCP SMB Partner growth strategy, codying playbooks, scaling our sales, marketing, and technical partner enablement efforts across the ecosystem.
  • You will also bring data driven thought leadership to our growth efforts by partnering with stakeholders across the organization to roll out and measure revenue driven scale initiatives.
  • The role of the Program Manager, will be to design/adapt, centalize, test, operalization and scale global initiatives and programs, owning measurement and reporting.

responsibilities:

Overall Responsibilities

  • Define, develop and operationalize go-to-market revenue & enablement programs, globally, for GCP SMB/Longtail channel partnerships, including planning, program design, implementation & reporting.
  • Spearhead strategic revenue generating initiatives to accelerate growth in GCP SMB & Mid-market within existing channel partnership ecosystem Work closely & establish key relationships cross-functionally with partnership peers, including:
  • SMB Sales Central Programs, Partner Programs, SMB PSMs & Partner Marketing Drive and own central-to-regional diffusion, feedback, and communication cadence of strategic initiatives & programs Refine/create, centralize and scale SMB content for partners to drive acquisition of SMB G GCP customers,
  • including: (i) SMB sales skills, (ii) partner program benefits, (iii) demand generation playbooks, and (iv) technical competency Co-owns GCP smb partner scaled event agenda working with the community growth managers in-region to gather feedback / needs

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:

  • Plan, test and scale programs to grow SMB revenue from existing partner ecosystem, driving partner activation & enablement at scale Execute, manage and measure strategic initiatives
  • Create internal & external collateral/materials
 
qualifications:

Mandatory Minimum Requirements Masters Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Project Management or a related discipline

  • Mandatory Minimum Requirements Masters Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Project Management or a related discipline
  • 4+ years experience of working in technology sales and/or channels/distribution of software, consulting or product/project/program management
  • Demonstrated understanding of the cloud market (SaaS, IaaS) and competitive dynamics/customer adoption behavior.
  • Program management skills, with previous experience in the process of developing, validating and scaling programs from inception to launch
  • Ability to effectively operate independently with minimal guidance, high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment
  • Experience being a "connector" across teams and leading a program/project against KPIs through to completion Analytical, detail-oriented and able to "zoom" in/out from the big picture
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities and ability to synthesize and present information in an insightful and structured manner.
  • Effective written, verbal & presentation communication skills in English Experience influencing cross-functional teams to drive results

Desired Preferred Requirements

  • 6+ years experience of working in technology sales and/or channels/distribution of software
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space.
  • Ability to build influential relationships and deliver results in a cross-functional/matrixed environment and influencing regional & sub-regional stakeholders through an understanding of business needs
  • Comfort working across time zones, remote teams and cultures required.
  • Professional knowledge of another language a plus
