The Funding Production Support The System Support Analyst is responsible for support and maintenance functions of the Funding Applications in the Production environment. The position is responsible for technical leadership, the triage and resolution of complex system and/or application issues and the deployment of code within a controlled change-management environment. The candidate will provide on-call support for production applications and work closely with other team members, proprietary and vendor development staff and various other teams to resolve issues. The position requires hands-on technical leadership, analytical skills and the ability to provide solutions to issues. The candidate must be able to work within a high-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

The opportunity is to focus on covering the support of applications used within the Funding suite of applications, in addition to associated development projects both locally and globally. The team owns the holistic support of the Funding technology platform including tactical enhancements, application upgrades, new application rollouts, maintenance and performance tuning.

The team provides a depth of technology services to the organization whose strategy leverages both proprietary built systems that complement customized vendor applications. The team leverages a global follow the sun model to provide support services, and accommodates necessary changes in line with the evolving business and technology model.

The team supports several applications that are responsible for critical cash and collateral management, repo trading and regulatory reporting. The corresponding batches run 24x6 and the team is responsible for supporting the applications during that time frame. This requires that flexibility to address issues that come up, as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service

Service and maintain software applications in expected turn-around times with a sense of urgency. Develop and maintain professional relationships with all business and technology teams and provide support. Time & Deadlines Works under pressure and is able to manage competing priorities, and deliver within the SLAs. Meets or exceeds expectations on process turnaround for assigned tasks and follow ups, and issue resolution to closure. Provide 247 operational support to all production practices on holidays and weekends.

Accountability

Monitor all alerts, resolve issues and provide timely updates to stake holders (Incident & Problem Management) Applies the identified job knowledge requirements for the role to make disciplined decisions in a timely fashion. Research, recommend, configure, and administer software configuration changes. (Change & Deployment Management) Perform routine operations tasks (i.e. produce reports, execute SQL queries, process restarts, etc). Work with the various business and technology departments to understand their needs for the software and any issues they are experiencing, and assist in the resolution. Work with software vendor and Application development teams to have application issues fixed, both short term and long term (Root cause) Troubleshoot errors and application issues and assist in a resolution in a timely manner. Maintain logs of all issues and ensure resolutions are documented (Knowledge Base) Act as a technical resource during other projects as required. Responsible for the creation of software operations and support related documentation (Run books) Coordinate with IT groups and external vendors and ensure effective application services to ensure reliability of all applications. Ensures all production changes are made in accordance with life-cycle methodology and risk guidelines. Research and develop process improvements in dedication to continuous improvement, and reduce manual/repetitive tasks

Leadership

Responsible for managing and providing ongoing feedback for a small team of technical personnel with various background and expertise. Responsible for coaching and mentoring less experienced team members. Prioritize workload, providing timely and accurate resolutions. Required Qualifications

6+ years of systems support analysis experienceA BS/BA degree or higher5+ years of application production support experience5+ years of SQL experience5+ years of onshore application production support process experience
