What You’ll Do:

Reporting to the Information Systems and Reporting Manager, this position administers, schedules, monitors, and maintains the campus automated production scheduling application system called Tidal and is responsible for supporting customers in the use of the system. Position responsibilities include: design, planning, set up and maintenance of Tidal which manages processing of all daily, weekly, monthly and annual batch job applications; working with applications development, functional and technical staff in the resolution and recovery of failed production jobs which could occur during second and third shift operations; ensure all documentation for production jobs, including set up and recovery, are properly completed and maintained; and communications to and training of applications development, functional and technical staff regarding the capabilities and set up of Tidal. Additional duties will include assigning and removing PeopleSoft security roles, working with a work ticket tracking system, and coordinating team audit requests and compliance efforts.

Requirements


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree by date of hire or two years’ experience in medium to large production IT organization

                                                               

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in scheduling of IT jobs, either manual or in an automated setting
  • Evidence of experience in application security or account management
  • Evidence of related professional work experience in a higher education environment
  • Evidence of professional work experience in an IT workplace/setting
