job summary:

This position is responsible for supporting the deployment of the Global eProcurement process and the rollout and expanded use of P2P platform. This individual will be regarded as one of the organization's top subject matter experts in P2P process and systems. The Business Analyst will support the Implementation lead in developing best practices and manage several applications and processes related to improvement initiatives. This individual is responsible for coordinating with functional, application development, and operations teams. The successful candidate will have strong collaboration, analytical, and a strong working knowledge of procurement process and & eProcurement tools.

responsibilities:
  • eProcurement rollout of a total (USD)1.4 billion annual Enterprise Procurement budget which includes all goods and services that are processed through the Procure-to-Pay portal and the business ownership of technology supporting the procurement portal.
  • Identify, evaluate, and capitalize on opportunities to reduce sourcing and purchasing costs by analyzing the organization's buying patterns and developing solutions to improve procurement practices.
  • Work closely with the Implementation lead to provide release management in collaboration with application development and operation teams.
 
qualifications:
  • Support the rollout and expanded use of the P2P platform (e.g. testing, end user training, education and change management activities, supplier on boarding etc.)
  • Identify opportunities to increase the leverage of the P2P platform capabilities and processes in partnership with the Operations team.
  • Analyze opportunities for e-enablement, review spend data to determine "good fit" commodities and suppliers for the eProcurement tools and processes.
  • Coordinate, review and approve all regional integration, process readiness and regression testing.
  • Manage and measure Procure-to-Pay program performance against measures and guidelines.

Key Competencies & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree required
  • 8 years of relevant work experience required.
  • Experience with eProcurement implementations and operations
  • Operational leadership experience, preferably in a Procurement or Health Services setting, required.
  • Experience leading large scale change initiatives required.
  • Demonstrate skill in executive presentation, negotiation, and collaboration required.
  • Competency skills most important for success in this role: Problem Solving, Interpersonal Savvy, Organizational Agility, Conflict Management, and Perspective.
  • Ariba Suite of Products experience is must
  • General working knowledge of procurement industry cost drivers and familiarity with procurement applications preferred.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, at least eight, typically ten years of solid, diverse work experience in IT.
