Our client in San Diego is looking for a go-getter, PHP developer to join their team. Our client has been the leader in providing credit, and software solutions to financial organizations.

We are currently looking to expand our development to take our flagship web application to the next level. We are looking for a mid-to-senior level PHP developer to be a part of a full-stack development team responsible for all aspects of ongoing development of our flagship application. You will participate in all parts of the software development lifecycle, from analyzing requirements to developing specifications, design, implementation, testing, launching, and maintenance.

We want smart people looking to be part of a skilled team. Ours is a complex and challenging application with lots of potential to grow in terms of workflow automation, data analysis, mobile apps, UI/UX, leveraging new technologies, ground-up architecture, cloud infrastructure, automated testing, API integrations, and optimization. We want people ready to hit the ground running for smart refactoring of legacy code, and brilliant ideas for new solutions.

Responsibilities and Duties

Write clean, well-designed, and maintainable code

Produce detailed specifications based on business requirements

Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality

Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges

Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle

Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary

Field support requests from end-users

Qualifications and Skills

At least 5 years developing in PHP, MySQL, and Javascript (including jQuery).

Database design and optimization

Writing comprehensive unit tests using PHPUnit

Experience with Bootstrap and AngularJS

Understanding of software design patterns, including MVC

Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming and practices

Comfortable with git and standard source control practices

General understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Experience integrating with REST and XML-based APIs
