About Department/Role:

IBM Lithuania is looking for Payroll specialist (temporary contract).
As Payroll Specialist in IBM you will be responsible for timely and accurate handling of Payroll queries and transactions as per Payroll process. You will have to provide responses to employees, management and other functions on Payroll related topics.
You will analyze and interpret Payroll situations which requires knowledge of local Labor Law and Payroll Taxation, and will apply corporate policies, practices and procedures. You will implement changes (if any) to Payroll processes ensuring compliance with procedures and controls. You will ensure accuracy and timely preparation of Payroll and other reports.

Required Professional and Technical Expertise
Skills required:

- knowledge of local Labor Law and related legal regulations;
- knowledge of Payroll taxation requirements;
- ability to collaborate and coordinate process activities with other departments and/or Payroll supplier
- ability to respond to requests quickly, completely and accurately
- ability to make independent decisions aided by process documents and management input where required
- fluent in English
- 1 year or more working experience in field of Payroll/Taxation/Accounting or related administration

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise
Experience with Latvian, Estonian payroll and taxation regulations.
