This position is with a group called Secured Environments that maintains servers where access to the servers is restricted and information on the servers needs to be protected via network firewals. The team performs all maintenance including patching and firmware. Also will be the first to complete compliance remediation work to servers. Large part of the environment includes Web server software the team also supports.
Acts in the highest level technical role as an individual contributor and/or team lead for the most complex technical support and operating systems or subsystems initiatives. Leads, conducts, and coordinates the analysis, planning, and implementation of systems software and/or hardware. Analyzes, designs, codes, tests, debugs, maintains, modifies, and documents operating systems. Plans and defines systems software and/or hardware requirements and determines system specifications and/or customizations. Directs the design of subsystems and integration of total systems. Identifies and resolves the most complex problems. Provides leadership, direction and/or guidance to less experienced staff.

Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM PST (preferred)
On-call pager rotation every 6-8 weeks require 24x7 availability
Required Qualifications10+ years of operating systems analysis experience, operating systems engineering experience, or a combination of both7+ years of experience with the installation, configuration, implementation or administration of middleware application server installations on Red Hat Linux or Unix environments2+ years of advanced scripting experience using Unix Shell Scripting, Perl, Python, Java, or PL-SQL
