Responsible for providing leadership and management to an Operations team which covers the New York/New Jersey Area, and the coordination of resources to successfully execute installation projects that meets the branch revenue and executed margin goal.

Have a strong understanding of the building automation systems business flow, including but not limited to relationship generation, field operations, financial understanding, and overall customer satisfaction mindset. Responsible for the financial performance of the assigned installation business, including project planning, revenue forecasting, A/R collections and re-estimating costs of installation projects within the team's portfolio. Responsible for the overall quality of the assigned project installation deliverable and customer satisfaction per company standards. Represents ALC and its interests in all decisions affecting daily operations.


- Lead team members to plan and achieve safety, quality, delivery and financial goals

- Lead team members to execute projects for optimal quality and customer satisfaction

- Provide direction to project teams for problem solving construction issues impeding the completion of a project

- Reviews and interprets contract Terms and Conditions

- Ensure accurate revenue and manpower forecast data is provided to the Branch Management Team

- Monitor financial performance of the operation team and develop corrective action plans to address financial performance gaps

- Perform monthly One-on-One account reviews with all project managers in the branch

- Promote safety and ensure teams meet all EH&S goals

- Responsible for succession planning, employee reviews and development

- Responsible for ensuring proper staffing of teams to achieve optimal customer satisfaction and operational or financial goals

- Promote open communication, interdepartmental cooperation and team building

- Foster the development of a culture reflective of the core values of the business

- Manage subcontractors program to provide capacity, quality, and cost effective installations

- Experienced in prioritizing and managing multiple projects at the same time

- Experienced in Project Management - Must be well organized and excellent time management skills

- Coordinate with Engineering to establish standard product selections

- Promote turnover meetings between Sales and Operations, Operations and Service

- Communicate professionally and effectively

- Strong Leadership Skills

- Able to build and promote a strong and productive team environment

- Able to coach and mentor employees - Communicate professionally and effectively

- Corrective actions to employee or customer complaints

- Monitor customer feedback - Departments timely completion of Assignments - ACE, Safety

- Travel requirements

- Review related SOP's annually - recommend improvements

- Strong Problem Solving Techniques

- Other duties as assigned


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, and other Window products

- Ability to lead and motivate teams

- Strong problem solving, planning and project management skills

- Strategic planning and execution

- Understanding of sales and business development

- Knowledge of building automation and construction projects

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

- General knowledge of employment laws and practices

- Demonstrated knowledge of financial reporting

- Knowledge of safety laws

Minimum Qualifications:

- BA/BS with 4-7+ years' experience Preferred Qualifications:

- Quality systems knowledge

- 6 Sigma training and/or experience

- Project Management Professional designation

- LEED Accredited Professional - MS with 4-7+ years experience
