Your Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for an individual with Open Source experience specifically focused around OpenShift, Containers (Docker etc.), Container Orchestration (Kubernetes), and OpenStack Architect to work with CAS Offering Management team to build new offerings, and also enhance existing CAS portfolio offerings to include above cited specific products (OpenShift, Containers, Kubernetes etc..) architecture and implementation content. The ideal candidate will have domain expertise in cloud technologies architecture and hands-on experience with Linux, OpenShift, and OpenStack.

  • Lead technology direction and content for OpenShift and OpenStack specific architecture design consulting offerings
  • Own and drive technology architecture, design and governance of Cloud Advisory Services offerings
  • Develop point of views and proof of concepts on various architecture design and implementation patterns
  • Work with other Offering Managers on the team to develop solution and design delivery models
  • Develop architecture work products and perform guides to complement service delivery teams
  • Participate in scoping client engagements and provide customized architecture solutions as required on AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, and Google cloud platforms
  • Support marketing and/or sales teams on offerings go-to-market collateral preparation
  • Conduct client workshops and enablement sessions to sales and delivery team members


Required Technical and Professional Expertise
At least 10+ years of IT experience
Minimum of 4+ years of delivery architecture experience with client engagements
Minimum of 4+ year of hands on experience with cloud migration experience
Minimum of 2+ years of hands on experience with OpenShift and OpenStack
Working experience with infrastructure architecture
Working knowledge of at least three cloud platforms inclusive of IBM, AWS, Azure, and/or Google
Working knowledge of Docker containers and Kubernetes architecture
Working knowledge of architectural best practices and methodologies
Subject matter expertise of solutions in many technology and business domains (cloud computing, Storage, Network, and Security)
Experience in Architecture, Design, Build and Operationalize OpenShift environment
Experience working in Data Centers in laying down the infrastructure foundation
Bachelors degree or relevant experience
