OMS Sterling Commerce Developer

Our client is looking to add an OMS sterling commerce developer. This person must have at least 5 years of experience working with 9.3/9.4 or 9.5. This developer should be more focused on the front end and be able to develop the functionality of the business requires of our clients, clients. This person will be working with a big team so having good communication is key. Also learning and understanding our clients end users larger goal would be preferred.


Must Haves



  • 5+ years of experience in developing Sterling OMS- Versions (9.3/9.4 or 9.5)
  • A great understanding of the full life cycle of Sterling OMS from conception through the finish product.
  • Configuration/Administrator level knowledge using Sterling Order Management components, API's, related interfaces and configuration.



  • Experience in Java/J2EE and specifically in developing Java based extensions and interfaces to ensure proper functionality and integration with other systems.



  • Experience with integrating Sterling Order Management solutions into other enterprise systems.



  • Experience in XML, XML Parsers, and XSL and with ESBs.
  • Strong analytical skills to think through complex, multidimensional problems and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills to interface with the business.



  • Good Communication skills to articulate ideas, options and solutions to business and IT team.
