What You’ll Do:

Reporting to the UWM Help Desk Manager, this position supports campus web-based enterprise services, mentors the Help Desk student consultants, functions as a Knowledgebase contributor, and participates in the planning and maintenance of the content of the Help Desk website, including technical FAQs and other documentation. This position acts as primary consultant and liaison for users and campus functional offices in UWM web-based enterprise web services including, but not limited to, Office 365, Exchange, SharePoint and other enterprise storage, ensuring user understanding of the applications.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience using incident management software to track issues
  • Evidence of professional experience supporting and maintaining enterprise applications
  • Experience with troubleshooting strategies, including hardware, software and networking issues


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a field that would provide the skills and abilities to fulfill the requirements of the position by date of hire
  • Technical knowledge of enterprise applications including Office 365 and SharePoint storage
  • Experience mentoring junior staff
  • Experience documenting processes for a knowledge base or other technical writing
  • Experience in an IT environment operating both independently and in a team setting
