What You’ll Do:

Reporting to the UWM Help Desk Manager, this position supports campus web-based enterprise services, mentors the Help Desk student consultants, functions as a Knowledgebase contributor, and participates in the planning and maintenance of the content of the Help Desk website, including technical FAQs and other documentation. This position acts as primary consultant and liaison for users and campus functional offices in UWM web-based enterprise web services including, but not limited to, Office 365, Exchange, SharePoint and other enterprise storage, ensuring user understanding of the applications.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience with incident management software to track issues
  • 3 years' or more experience with Enterprise Microsoft Exchange support environment
  • 3 years' or more experience with troubleshooting strategies including networking, hardware and software issues

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's (or advanced) degree in computer science, information technology, management information systems, or related field by date of hire
  • Demonstrated experience supervising, managing, and/or mentoring junior staff
  • Demonstrated experience with web based enterprise applications including Office 365, SharePoint, Exchange and enterprise file storage
  • Demonstrated experience documenting processes for a knowledge base or other technical writing
