Your Role and Responsibilities



The IBM Networking & Digital Workplace Services Representative (SLR) assumes both new business (new client acquisition) and account ownership responsibilities for existing Networking and Digital Workplace clients.

Candidates can be located anywhere in the Central or West part of United States


Digital Workplace Services, one must possess demonstrated technical skills in all aspects of mobile computing, desktop computing, device life cycle managements, and device as a service as well as all aspects of service desk management including AI (artificial intelligence) and machine learning.

Networking Services, one must possess demonstrated technical skills in all aspects of network services including consulting services, software-defined, multinetwork (including hybrid WAN & SD-WAN), integrated managed infrastructure for networking, network integration, unified communication as a service, and contact center as a service.

A thorough understanding of the IT industries infrastructure technologies and solutions is a must. One will need to understand the competitive landscape in this space and be able to develop appropriate sales strategies to win. The Networking & Digital Workplace Services Representative must convey subject matter expertise and creditability in working with clients, potential clients and internal IBM team members. One will need to apply sales skills to engage and close opportunities with key decision makers and ensure smooth transition from the sales phase to delivery phase.

This is partly a new business/ business development role. We are looking for true Hunter sales professional that understands how to cultivate new business and how to manage a territory to win net new mobility / digital workplace and network services in Healthcare & Life Sciences clients while being adept at maintaining high level of client satisfaction with existing customers. The seller must be able to manage existing, large, complex transactions and cross-sell and upsell effectively as well.

Digital Workplace Services

IBM has a suite of service offerings that support Mobility which include consulting, infrastructure, and middleware solutions to make this transformation for the client.





Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Basic knowledge of the mobile and desktop compute landscape including: Device as a Service, Device Lifecycle Management, End-User computing applications, Service Desk and End-User support Managed Services
  • Basic knowledge of Networking Services including consulting services, software-defined, multinetwork (including hybrid WAN & SD-WAN), integrated managed infrastructure for networking, network integration, unified communication as a service, and contact center as a service
  • At least 3 years of experience in Solution/Managed Services Sales



Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • At least 3 years of experience in the mobile and desktop compute landscape including: Device as a Service, Device Lifecycle Management, End-User computing applications, Service Desk and End-User support Managed Services
  • At least 3 years of experience in Networking Services including consulting services, software-defined, multinetwork (including hybrid WAN & SD-WAN), integrated managed infrastructure for networking, network integration, unified communication as a service, and contact center as a service
  • At least 3 years of experience in selling to Healthcare and Life Sciences clients
  • At least 5 years of experience in Solution/Managed Services Sales
  • At least 3 years of experience in Consultative Sales strategies and methodologies
  • At least 5 years of experience in Executive Relationship Management
