About Enterprise Network Services (ENS)

Within the EIT group, the Enterprise Network Services (ENS) organization defines, develops, delivers and supports Data, voice, video network infrastructure solutions that enable Wells Fargo lines of business to communicate with customers, partners and applications efficiently, effectively and reliably.

Wells Fargo ENS group supports one of the largest networks in the world with over 400,000 end points in 39 countries around the globe. The wired network encompasses 35,000 switches and routers and over 300,000 phones located in 9,000 buildings, 12,500 ATMs and 13 data centers. The Wireless network includes more than 17,000 AP providing connectivity for mobile devices. In addition ENS provides alternate connectivity mechanisms for our branches and ATMs. With both 4G and VSAT networks, and for our customers and quest with public WiFi and Guest networks.

ENS Competency Center Leader Position:

As Competency Leader this person and respective team is responsible and accountable for the end-to-end Lifecycle and Governance for the domain Enterprise Wide. This leader must work cross organizationally at senior levels to establish, maintain and govern all aspects of the domain. This responsibility includes enabling operational capabilities to ensure standards, policies and regulatory soundness are being maintained Enterprise Wide. This accountability which will ensure operational excellence and safe and sound practices to protect Wells Fargos technology environment and ultimately the businesses reputational brand.

This leadership role must collaborate, interact, and lead both directly and indirectly at the CTO, CIO and Regulatory level to ensure all Business, Architectural, Policy, Regulatory, and Security requirements are being well defined, implemented and met while being demonstrable to senior leaders, business users and regulatory agencies for the Compute and Firmware Domain.



Required Qualifications

  • 12+ years of technology experience
  • 5+ years of strategic planning in a technology environment
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in a technology environment
  • 10+ years of experience working in a large enterprise network organization
  • 6+ years of experience managing large scale initiatives and initiative programs



Desired Qualifications

  • Experience managing large or multiple technology development efforts within a major line of business
  • Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management
  • Ability to influence and build relationships with LOB stakeholders, technology CIO leadership, external service providers, and architecture teams
  • Knowledge and understanding of information security management, audit, compliance, and risk
  • Budget management experience
