The Audit, Fraud, Physical Security and Credit Bureau Interaction group within Enterprise Risk Management Technology is responsible for compliance technology associated with our Credit Bureau Reporting and Credit Bureau Monitoring areas, Internal Audit Technology including certifications and learning tools, Internal and External Fraud Technology, and Physical Security including our Alarm Monitoring, Badge Access Controls, and Security Survey tools utilized throughout Wells Fargo.

Application Systems Engineer responsible for creating, updating, and testing very complex .Net SQL Server application. Front end user interface and backend Database design as well as creating and modifying smaller SQL stored procedures. Also, this developer will have the ability to modify or create the Windows Scripts/Batch Files/Executables used to prompt the execution of the batch processes.

  • Provides technical consultation and support in the development of computer applications and programs. Analyzes business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign computer solutions. This position supports the Credit Dispute Resolution System.
  • Develops original and/or complex code or provides coding guidance to less experienced staff.
  • Leads and/or performs modeling, simulations and analysis efforts.
  • Verifies program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs.
  • Participates in overall systems testing.
  • Develops new documentation, participates in the development of department technical procedures and designs user guides.
  • Leads projects, including assignment of tasks, and provides direction and guidance to less experienced staff.
  • Assures quality, security, and compliance requirements are met for supported area ERMT-FACSCreditBureauReporting and oversees updating and testing of the business continuation plan.

    The preferred work location is Charlotte, NC. Preference will be given to those candidates that either currently live in or are willing to relocate to Charlotte, NC with limited to no relocation assistance. Other locations will be considered and remote work may be possible with previous Wells Fargo experience.



Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of application development and implementation experience
  • 5+ years of C#.NET experience
  • 5+ years of HTML (HyperText Markup Language) experience
  • 5+ years of MS SQL server experience
  • 5+ years of stored procedures development experience
  • 3+ years of XML (Extensible Markup Language) experience
  • 3+ years of JavaScript development experience



Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • 5+ years of UI (User Interface) experience
  • 3+ years of 3rd party reporting tools experience
  • 1+ year of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) experience
  • 1+ year of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) experience
  • ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Programming experience
  • Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in information technology



Other Desired Qualifications
  • 5+ years of CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) experience
